Frequently asked questions
Train to Save offers many levels of training in various areas of First Aid, CPR, and lifeguarding.  Here are some of the questions that have come to us:
  • Is my American Red Cross card accepted as proof so I can re-certify with American Heart?
Absolutely! These two certifications are interchangeable and accepted equally by most entities.

  • Is the American Heart BLS equivalent to CPR for the Professional Rescuer?
It is equivalent and the information and skills learned are almost identical.

  • What is the minimum enrollment required for TTS to schedule a class at my company?
We need a minimum of 4 students to teach a class off-site or $145.

  • What is the maximum class size you can handle?
We manage classes with as many as 28 students, using 2 or more instructors. Preferred size is 12 to 14 per session.

  • What is the most advanced First Aid you can teach?
We offer the "Advanced First Aid" course of the National Safety Council which is equivalent to the American Red Cross "Responding to Emergencies" course. Mr Stave can also teach the National Ski Patrol "Outdoor Emergency Care" course.

  • Do you offer any occupational safety courses?
We can teach the "Blood Borne Pathogens" course.
